“SWEET!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

On a recommendation from a waitress at a restaurant in a different town, we looked for Kohr Brothers on the boardwalk and were happy to find it. The business was steady, but the employees were always one step ahead of the crowd. They have soft custard and twists in a variety of flavors - like chocolate and peanut butter. We all had different flavors and had them dipped in warm choclate that hardens with the coolness of the ice cream - an art that seems to be disappearing in our area. We so happily enjoyed watching the twilight surf and eating these cones - it's summer in a cone!

“Terrible Service”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Terribe service. My family and I stood there waiting for 5 minutes watching the staff flirt with each other as they stood with their back to the boardwalk. We ended up walking away and going to the ice cream parlor at the very end of the boardwalk that had 100 flavors. Don't waste your time!

“Kohr Bros. Frozen Custard Never Disappoints”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

I've enjoyed the Kohr Bros. custard for decades with my first introduction to this frozen treat on Surf Avenue in Coney Island NY. No matter which Kohr Bros. location you select, you will get the same wonderful, yummy treat which is very helpful on a warm summer day.

“different flavor combos”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

This place is more expensive than where most american's come from. However, they had orange and vanilla twist, peanutbutter and chocolate twist, or chocolate vanilla twist. The prices were 4, 5, 7. If you add sprinkles or other topping it is .50 for each. The large 7$ cone is a waffle cone dipped in chocolate and then in sprinkles, nuts, or something else. they had four to choose from and then any add ons are included. We had the peanut butter alone and the peanutbutter chocolate twist. I know it was more expensive but hey you are on the beach and boardwalk most likely on vacation. So budget the $7 in and enjoy. They have them at different places along boardwalk and in other beach towns like bethany beach or fenwick island.

“Expensive !!!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Their ice cream is so expensive. The small is $4.00 now. I think you could find better ice cream somewhere else. Or, you could go to a grocery store and buy a half gallon for less. I pitty families that have more than one child. Kohrs are trying to get rich at the expense of families on vacation!
