We had great expectations for dinner, as we had fond memories of our first visit from our previous trip to Bethany a coupl of years back. This time around, though, we left with mixed feelings.
First, the strong points:
Friendly service, cozy atmosphere in a charming house.
Seared scallops done just right.
Salmon was excellent, very generous portion.
Imaginative cuisine for sides and appetizers, such as the quinoa tabouleh salad.
Good wine list, we enjoyed different wines by the glass.
Stale bread, is it because it is gluten-free?
Steak sold as Filet mignon definitely was not a filet mignon cut. Asked for medium rare, was served overcooked.
