What Steve posted is so true..unfortunately, so many people have said this same thing. This place could have been a gold mine, but the theme is just so silly and inappropriate for an upscale shopping center, the owner doesn't really care what people consistently say to try to help, and quite frankly, i'm sure the reason it has been for sale for months with no buyer is because it's now got a bad reputation. The ONLY thing going for it is the food, but only when the head chef is actually there..The good staff was all let go or left on their own after being frustrated. The owner thinks it's fun to play bartender and server, but has no experience and it shows. Instead, she should be dressed professionally, act professional, and be the owner. Some folks should just not own a restaurant when it's clear there isn't any prior experience. Could have been great, but it's too late.

I walked in to this dark and curiously themed restaurant in pike creek. A poorly dressed and very strange woman eventually sat us after we walked around for a while. The menu's were filthy, as was the table and silverware. We ordered very simple drinks and they were wrong. When we got the "correct drinks" they were made incorrectly in dirty glasses. When this strange woman finally took our order, it too 38 minutes for 2 sandwiches. The food was okay, but I will NEVER return. Save yourself the time. The icing on the cake is the strange woman who looked like she was in house clothes is the OWNER. She also kept asking if we were "fully fed" and if things were "yummy" TERRIBLE.

Johnsons Grill is in the location of the former Blackstones, in the Shoppes of Louviers. The atmosphere is about the same, although the menu is slightly different. On our visit, I ordered one of the nightly specials - swordfish and rockfish. The dish came with a nice sauce, but was otherwise quite bland. The beer selection was modest, at best. Overall, just a very average experience.

No matter what we try on the menu or what the special is..we have never been disappointed. Pretzel sticks with spicy mustard. Yum yum.
