“Big enough”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

This park is large enough to enjoy your personal space. There is a long circuit of asphalt track for walking, jogging/running or bicycling. There is playground equipment for children and a skateboard section for skateboarders. It is pleasant and clean.

“Glasgow Park”

A nice open parkland, with several locations for kids fun doing things. Also, a nice place for a group party. It also has great walking trails.

“A great resource”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This park offers many great amenities including a 2.6 mile running/walking track that I use regularly. There are also a series of fitness stations, tennis courts, basketball courts, play sites for kids as well as rest room facilities. The park is well maintained and offers easy parking right of off US 40.

“Nice walking trails here”
Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

Although I don't visit this park regularly, I have walked and biked the trails here. There is also a nice playground and tennis courts. This park also has a nice sledding hill.

“Great Place to walk or run off those excess pounds!”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

The Glasgow Park has been at the corner of Route 896 and Route 40 for some time now. Each year, New Castle County Parks and Rec spends money adding and beautifying the park. this year they added some new gardens that are adjacent to rt 40. The trail is an easy 2.6 blacktop walk or run. There are workout stations along the trail too.
There are slides and other playground equipment for the kids to play on. The park is also pet friendy as long as pooch is on a leash. My only complaint (s) are, not enough parking and the trail is mainly in the sun so there is not much in the way of shade on a hot day...but these are small complaints and do not take away from the park.

another plus for me is that I work at Siemens that backs up to the park and I can walk there during lunch.
