Ok so I notice there is no review 4 this cute little museum so I will post one... I finally managed 2 check this place out after years of saying that i would! We took the opportunity when they had an annual open house thingie, I think this was in the Spring I am not sure, so my visit date will b a guess... U may wish 2 Goodsearch it, as they have it every year and have all kinds of things going on (talks, excavations on property, blacksmiths smithing thinks out in the woods), butter churning, sheep hair weaving.
Anyway aspiring archeologist, geologist or local historians would really like it. They have a lot of historic information on the area, many specimens of semiprecious stones, geodes and arrow heads. So if u like Rocks/Crystals/Stones Geology, the do have a nice collection. They also have a taxidermy collection too. A LOT of stuff crammed in a little old school house, I believe is what it was.
NOTE: Where it says: Is there a fee for this attraction? I say NO because we weren't charged on that special event. However, I do think there MAY b a nominal fee 2 attend normally. I believe they r only open during weekend hours except 4 school tours.
I hope this review is helpful!
