We had a gift card that was given to us, so we decided to go here for lunch the other day. Once inside we were seated at a large round booth. It was very comfortable and accomodated us nicely. We were given menus and our drink order was taken.
After looking over the menu, we decided on the honey teriyaki salmon, the sesame chicken, an order of pork potstickers and a side of chicken lo mein. While we waited, I took notice of the inside of the restaurant. It was kind of dark in terms of lighting, but the decor was very beautiful. It could almost classify as romantic. They had small twinkle lights throughout. The decor was mostly red & black with some teal accents throughout. They also had a stone wall in the back and a huge mural above the bar area. They have a neat sushi bar area back by the bar too. Restrooms were also very nicely decorated & clean. They had a large selection of hand soaps, lotions, body sprays (Victoria's Secret) and scope mouth wash available for use in the ladies room at NO CHARGE.
Within minutes a FREE order a bread with a maple butter was brought to the table. The bread was tasty, but VERY hard & tough to chew. My husband said it was inedible, but I managed to nibble away at it. The butter was delish. Shortly following our bread, our wonton soup (included with entree) was delivered to the tabled. It was rather good. We both enjoyed it. Our pork potsickers were not far behind. They were also very very good. We both loved them. I could have eaten more they were so good! You can tell they are house made.
Our entrees were out in no time along with our sides of rice and our side of chicken lo mein. We both enjoyed our meals. The sesame chicken was sweet, but not overly so. My husband loved his salmon..said it was very good. The lo mein noodles tasted homemade. I really enjoyed them & was glad I had ordered them.
Overall we had a great experience with Potstickers. We would definately return & would recommend to others. Many surprising pluses in this chinese/sushi restaurant that make it an attractive dining option. We enjoyed ALL of our food. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes were rather large, so that was a plus. The food was all served up hot...another plus. Prices were a tad high even during lunch hours, but the qualilty of the food & dining atmosphere made up for it. Our waitress was not overly friendly, but not rude either. Her service was a tad slow, but the overall flow from appetizers to soup to entree went well. We were there for 1.5 hours from start to finish (and we skipped dessert). So I recommend dining here when you are not in a hurry. You will not feel rushed out the door, so you can dine at your own pace...another plus unless you are in a rush! The one downside was that there were NO FREE fortune cookies.
