“Kids love it, adults love the Happy Hour.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

It's a place that kids beg their parents to go to for a family night out. Miniature golf nearby, live music many nights, comfortable seating.

“Good Pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

The Pizza was good, it had a wonderful taste and the ssausde was not overpowering - we did not have any leftovers to take home. Enjoyed the free popcorn too while waiting on the pizza - nice touch. Rasberry tea was a delite, very refreshing.

Only complaint it seemed dark inside, could have been a little brighter.

“Locals really dislike Grotto's pizza”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

Definitely not authentic pizza. More like a tourist pizza. I don't care for the taste and the cheap ingredients they use. They make me and my family sick (literally). The only thing I can eat here is their tunafish salad, which is not too bad.

“Get Back to Basics”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

We have frequented Grottos for over 25 years. They have good pizza but we feel with all their expansion they are starting to price themselves way too high to keep customers returning. Someone has to pay for the new openings of stores but they need customers and at this point they have the most expensive plain cheese pizza in Delaware. The points cards is a joke. You really don't save anything. Years ago they had early bird specials for families to save not anymore. The pizzas is always overcooked and they have cut back on the cheese so much it's almost like an old fashion tomato pie. Please remember the locals have made you what you are. You need us when the tourist are not here. Bring back the winter Tuesday night buffet and nightly specials you had before and don't short change us on the cheese.

“Service for the birds”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

The service is terrible, the music too loud. For a family restaurant this is becoming more of a bar dive and the pizza is way over rated and over priced.
