“Good Food and lots of TV's”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

We had a reasonably priced lunch and we were able to watch sports on several screens :) The pizza was quite good. The hostess was less than friendly but the waitress was much better.

“Family Atmosphere, Quality Food, Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

My colleague enjoyed the food better than I however it was a matte of personal preferences around sauces and such. The appetizer sample was out of this world! Best Mozzarella sticks I have ever had. The pizza was quality. Sauce was a thick consistency. My co-worker loved it, I was just OK with it. The atmosphere is quite enjoyable with little TV’s a t each table and we had a most wonderful server in Miss Crystal. I was quite disappointed that there were no Italian Sausage Subs but hey, the rest was worth it. If you’re in the mood for a Family Pizza Experience, Grottos is the place to go. The folks in our training at a nearby hotel were able to call ahead and pick up their orders for lunch all within the limited half hour we gave them .Great Service!!

“A little odd compared to the ones at the beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2012

Really not sure why, but there was a vast difference between this Grotto and the one on Rehoboth Avenue. The pizza at this location was blander, and the crust was overly crisp. Service was good - maybe better than that at the beach - and the bar was decent. Prices seemed higher too, for some reason. 2 slices and a drink was over 7 bucks, which is harsh. Nice building, probably due to being fairly new. Will probably avoid this while on the road in the future.

“Quick, which was the point”

Grabbed some pizza by the slice before getting back on the road. It was decent but nothing extraordinary.

“It's got everything under one roof / convenient”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2012 via mobile

We stayed in Milford, Deleware recently for the NASCAR race that was held in Dover, Deleware. We stayed at the local Hampton Inn down the street and when we booked at the Hampton Inn, we didn't realize that there were no businesses or restaurants anywhere around our hotel except for the local Grotto Pizza down the street. Even during one of the busiest weekends of the year, we never had to wait for a table at Grotto. Also, they had everything we were looking for. Not only was the pizza decent ( much much better than most chains) but the boneless wings were great and also the subs and burgers are pretty good as well. Also having a full service bar in the restaurant is a nice benefit as well. Also there are plenty of televisions in the restaurant and some booths even have private televisions in the booths themselves.
All in all, even though there wasn't much around our hotel, Grotto was there go save us and act as our home base for food!
