We had a great time this past weekend at Camp Adventureland. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We tried the axe throwing and then the Santa Escape Room. Can't wait to go back and try the other rooms and brush up on my axe throwing.
The Santa room is a fun time to both adults and kids. It's amazing to me that half of the reservations have been just adult groups. It's a fun place for an hour of disengagement. I just love watching whole groups departing the room with giant smiles on their faces. BTW Santa says thank you for saving Christmas!
We did an hour of axe throwing followed by an hour in an escape room and we were so impressed that we can’t wait to go back. The axe throwing was super fun and my 11yo nephew went from being nervous to being surprisingly skilled at knife throwing. And the escape room was so clever...we only made it out with seconds to spare. I definitely recommend for couples, families or any group looking to have a good time. Our counselor Colin made the entire night perfect. He was so kind and patient and gave my nephew so much confidence. Such a great time!
We are excited you had a memorable time with us. Our goal is to be as inclusive of the young ones as we can. Developing these confidence building skills, spending time to communicate and share experiences is fundamental. With all the couch potato's and video game consumption it's fantastic to see the younger generation enjoying family time. Thank you so much for your time to review us. See you next time.
Tonight we went to Camp Adventureland...all 8 of us. We booked a time online for an Escape Room and some Hatchet throwing. Arrived a little early and had enough time to register and sign waivers for all. Escape room was first... Santa's Workshop. It was fun after you get a plan and figure out the first clue. Kids had a blast. One hour later we emerged victorious! Go Us! Then Hatchet Throwing.....no one in our group did this before. Our camp counselor had the patience of a saint because we all started firing off our questions. Eventually, everyone was able to get atleast 1 bull's-eye!!
A great time was had by all!
So happy you enjoyed our winter seasonal game room “Save Santa’s Workshop. The season ends January 31 when we’ll pull it down and begin installing our Spring/Easter Season game room. Looking forward to you return.
We've visited Camp Adventureland three times and have had so much fun with family. First time was hatchet throwing and the last two visits were the escape rooms. Love the escape rooms. You really need to work together on the clues.
Great staff too!
Thank you for visiting us. We take great pride in the high quality of our escape games. We are so happy you enjoyed yourself. It makes all the effort worth it. We look forward to hosting you when our Submarine and Train Car escape rooms open in the next few months. You should come around and try your hand at knife throwing. We just installed some Euro style log slice throwing targets. We have several types of throwing knives to try.
We had a great time in the Jade Skull escape room. It was our first experience in an escape room and we can't wait to try the Save Santa room next! This is definitely a great place to enjoy a night out with family. I also really appreciate the 80s summer camp theme! The little lit camping cabins are so cute!
Thank you Amber for your kind words. We strive to make everyone's time eventful. Whether your 2 or 200. Save Santa's Workshop will be an annual event. The puzzle will differ slightly each year so that it's never old. That room will change 4 times a year. in the Spring we will have a Spring/Easter/Mardi Gras theme. The Summer room will be Independence Day/Summer/Beach Theme. As so it will go! Changing rooms for kids of all ages. Hope to see you back soon.
We visited Camp Adventureland in Middletown Delaware for an evening of fun with friends. We wanted something different than the usual outing, like restaurants, bars, bowling, etc... We arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff. We were taken to our throwing lanes immediately. We received safety instructions and tips for throwing. The counselor made the experience so much fun. They kept score for us and cheered us on. The tavern was open so we enjoyed a few beers. After our hatchet throwing we had booked an escape room. We’ve done other escape rooms but the Jade Tiger was really good. It was super challenging and we had so much fun. We are definitely going back. Maybe next time we’ll go on a family outing with our kids. It’s so nice that they have an area for families bringing kids away from the tavern. They told us they were opening a new holiday themed escape room for kids. I think they said it would be open after thanksgiving. It’s a little hard to find as it is in a building complex on Patriot Drive. It’s best to make reservations but they do take walkins for the more spontaneous folks.
Thank you for your kind words. We work very hard to make sure your visit is enjoyable and memorable. We will in deed be opening the family friendly 6 y/o+ escape room "Save Santa's Workshop". Fun for the whole family. It will be an annual event. Come every year and solve the new puzzle and altered story line. W have two more escape rooms on the drawing board. In production now is our submarine adventure. We value your patronage and look forward to your next visit.
