This is a relatively low-key pub restaurant, simple nautical decor, with a nicely rounded menu with great fish offerings supplemented with burgers, salads and soups. Although the menu is American, it is contemporary in preparation and the fish tacos, gazpacho and other more "international" offerings should not be missed. Preparation and seasoning of everything is excellent, although crab cakes are on the small side, lacking in lump crabmeat, and not as satisfying as some other entrees and salads.
The restaurant can be noisy due to all the hard surfaces, but it is a happy kind of noise. Lunch is more relaxing than dinner but the menus are different, with dinner offering plated entrees that are terrific.

This is our second summer renting a house in Lewes, but we had never been to Striper Bites. Wish we had gone sooner! This place is well run, with a very good menu that anyone can find something they love. One of the best lobster rolls I've had.

Tastefully decorated in nautical decor with cool sea-themed accents, this restaurant has great fresh fish and seafood. We had some refreshing Dogfish Head (locally brewed) on draft to start. My husband had the daily special mahi mahi and finished it all! I had the fish tacos which were really yummy. Service was punctual and accurate. This is a popular restaurant so be prepared to wait!

I treated relatives to lunch here as they hadn't tried it yet. The service was poor as a number of other tables were served first although we arrived before them. No one stopped by to explain the delay. The prices were a bit high for the casualness of the decor. The food was good overall, but pricey for what they served. Ceasar salad consisting of lettuce, dressing and parma was $9!! My salad was $11 and $6 extra for a piece of salmon (salmon was very good). Restrooms were labeled as Men/Women and the one I used was not clean.
