The property is located in a resort area and that sees high demand in the summer months. From the outside, the building is imposing and there is plenty of parking. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of floor space to move around without bumping into the furniture -- in fact, the sparse furnishing and decor works well. A nice touch of elegance is that each room bears the name of a state, and a display-case in the corner contains artifacts and exhibits from that state. The corridors are clean and the carpets everywhere unworn. Breakfast was nice. The place seems to have been renovated and the paint is fresh and clear. The shower head was an old, high-flow, device that was overlooked in the renovation; it had a ring of blackish mold on its surface. The wifi was substandard despite several SSIDs being available; it was impossible to make a connection that lasted more than a few seconds. The rooms have two queen beds but the hotel imposes extra fees for each guest after the first two. These add-on charges raise the actual room-rate higher than the posted rate that attracts one to this place. Frankly, for close to the augmented price, one could probably find better accommodation at the numerous franchises of national hotel chains in the area.

Stayed for 2 nights here and would definately stay again. Staff were great, especially the lady who recommended 1776 steakhouse across the road which was just fab. Stayed in a HUGE room with balcony. Place was clean and room servicing was prompt and very good. Breakfast could have been a bit better but there are plenty of breakfast places close by to eat out. Really handy for tanger outlet malls, 10 min drive to Lewes and same to Rehoboth.

I stayed here with my 2 kids and mom for a beach trip. Everywhere else was booked so we only got 1 night, even though the front desk told us on the phone 2nd night would free up for us but it didn't.

Pros: The room was cold. The place was quiet. The end.

Cons: The place was filthy dirty everywhere(see pics), the carpet, furniture, bathroom, hallways, etc. Our shower curtain had to be replaced due to it being covered in mold and mildew! Blood had to be wiped off the bathroom door near the handle!
The furniture was random and beat up if not broken as well as the mattresses old and sheets didn't fit.
There was no microwave, pen and paper, Bible, local places papers, closet, lotion, soap holder, hair dryer, safe or extra blanket in the room. You could however use the 1 microwave that the entire hotel uses that is located in the lobby.
The door frames and appliances were rusted and rotting.
The decorations look like they found random things from the dollar store just to fill up space.
The front desk "kids", I mean staff, didn't care about our horrible experience and when told by a child who came running in from the pool that there was a wasp nest and wasps flying around the pool they said, "yea we know just ignore them."
There were 6 people sleeping on the lobby couches when we left in the morning...maybe they let the homeless stay free for the night?
The sheets made me itch and the pillows were hard and lumpy.

I can't believe we paid $300 for a hotel like this. They should be embarrassed of themselves. I would never recommend or go back.

This hotel is unacceptable for $280.00 for one night for a double queen bed room. Dirty and old. We had blood on our door to the bathroom and the toilet seat was not attached. The shower curtain was moldy. The mattresses were the cheapest nastiest mattresses I've ever seen The sheet did not even fit and were coming off.
I told the front desk about the blood, toilet seat and shower curtain and they sent two teens to take care of the issues. These same teens or twenty somethings were down the hall being very loud at their area where you wash and dry towels and sheets. Trying to get the baby to nap was not working out.
The positive thing i can say is the air conditioner was great. The breakfast was easy to pass up with packaged danish and granola bars. No thank you.
We were going to try the pool but a mom came in while i was at the front desk and complained there was a hornets nest out there. Their reply- "oh we know just don't bother it." Are you kidding??
We quickly checked out and decided not to stay another day. There were 5 people sprawled out on the two sofas in the lobby sleeping. Im not sure if those people actually stayed there all night for a fee..... Or what. But that is TOTALLY unacceptable and creepy.
Im a Marriott member and took this hotel room because Marriott was full. I think a good cleaning staff should get in there to clean and get new mattresses that would be a good start to make this place acceptable.

Really good sized, clean rooms. My kids liked the theme, Big Bend National Park! The pool was great, and we enjoyed watching the frogs in the pond. Breakfast was just ok, but as expected. It would have been nice to have water on offer.
