“Great Hotel, Great Town”

Wanted to get away for weekend chose Lewes. Looked Hotels up on tripadvisor, and saw all the good reviews for Hotel Blue. We agree, it is a great little hotel with very nice rooms, décor. Great location within walking distance to all the great restaurants Lewes has to offer. We definitely would like to stay again in the warmer months to check out the rooftop pool! Highly recommend!

Stayed at Hotel Blue over the weekend and had a great time. Nice rooms, pretty much as described. Easy walking distance to Lewes and the shops there. Dealing with the hotel was great, I needed a late arrival and they were very easy to work with to accomodate my schedule. Nothing bad to say at all about our visit.

Room Tip: 2nd or 3rd floor suites were nice. Balcony facing the docks (and a few restaurants) and a nice view.

We normally stay at the Inn at Canal Square but they were book for the weekend we were planning on being in Lewes. Hotel Blue had availability so we made the reservation. We booked the Studio Suite with fireplace. What a nice room with a very comfortable bed and great pillows! The bathroom is very large and spacious but I wasn't a fan of the shower...not a lot of water pressure. Hotel Blue is just over the bridge in Lewes but is still within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. If you plan on being in Lewes give Hotel Blue a try you won't be sorry!

Hotel Blue is a stylish little hotel just over the bridge from downtown Lewes. I was a bit concerned at first when my reservation was done incorrectly and was booked for an extra night and not for the special rate that was running, but that was corrected with a phone call. The hotel is part of an office strip mall but once you go inside you get a sense of the modern style they're shooting for. The premium one bedroom suite was just that, a nice size room with a separate bedroom. There are some cute touches, glowing bathroom sinks and ice bucket, a TV mirror combo in the bedroom that give the room a hip vibe. But it's sometimes the execution of this design that falls a bit short. The TV mirror has the power cord and connections exposed that basically ruins the effect and the white molding in the bathroom needs a more thorough cleaning in the corners or it ruins the effect. The front desk could work a bit harder than the "Hi," you get once in a while, but overall I liked it. I felt I received good value for my money and it was a nice spot to finish up a busy couple of days.

I thought this was a decent hotel but didn't live up to the description on the website or the reviews here. Nice that the room had a little coffee maker and fridge but paper coffee cups aren't "luxury" in my mind. Though it was nice to have a balcony it wasn't so great to overlook some parking lots and shoddy buildings. Also didn't find it very impressive that the front desk person was completely unable to give us any info on nearby restaurants. Overall not worth $200 in the off season. Glad I only stayed one night.

Lovely hotel, folks in the lobby are informed and informative (no - uh, not sure - responses to any questions). Room was huge - closed off bedroom with living room, microwave and fridge in hallway, and bathroom at far end, plus fireplace. Nice layout for a bit of privacy. Lots of windows so good light, and balcony to hang out on. Good price also! I would go back. Only negative: no movie rental!! We rarely have time to relax and enjoy a movie, so it would have been nice to be able to see something current, but not a deal breaker by any means.
