Description: Home for Bob Ciprietti is Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Growing up there and falling in love with the food, tradition, and people of NY inspired him to bring a little bit of home to Delaware. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and now has locations in Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, MD. Each ristorante has a salumeria(deli) and a pasticceria (bakery) in house. Although our dining room opens at 11 AM, the bakery and deli open at 10 AM. We are known for our most popular Chicken Parm, our mozzarella, our crispy bread, our internationally recognized brick oven pizza, our pasta, and our eclairs. It's important to us that when you dine with us you enjoy a true authentic Italian experience with good food, friends, family, and great conversation. Stop by for a glass of wine and some good pasta or some meatballs and bread. Regardless of your choice, you won't be disappointed.

“That's Italian!!”
Reviewed August 19, 2014 via mobile

While accompanying a friend to house hunt in Rehoboth, we were given A Touch of Italy restaurant as a place to eat at. It was packed and I know why. The smells immediately sent me back to my youth in Brooklyn, N.Y. being in a salumeria!!
Everything was fresh and delicious.
Only complaint is that it was cold like a meat locker and many people were going outdoors to warm up. Bring a jacket.

This is an elegant little restaurant tucked in the back of an Italian grocery/deli. The menu is relatively limited but everything is prepared well. We were a little disappointed that the beautiful slabs of lasagna are available at the deli but not in the dining room; but we were very happy with our freshly prepared fish and pasta. Next time, we will make reservations and dine at a table instead of the bar, athough we were comfortable enough.

“Fun and Funky feels like a little canteen in Europe”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

Meat hanging from the ceiling, deli counter, and the seating is packed in to get as many tables as possible but that creates a cozy atmosphere and feeling of fun. The pasta and cheeses were excellent. Wine selection fantastic and a really great bar. Obviously a casual restaurant but really great food. The service was rushed but very friendly and if you want something just raise your hand and flag a waiter or the bartender or go to the deli counter and see something you want for your meal or desert. Go with friends and have fun.

“MMmmmmmmmmmm Meatballs”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

I am still dreaming of the meatball sandwich I had there this past week! Stole a bite of my Wifes chicken parm too and that was also delicious.

“Good, but don't buy into the hype”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

Great subs and ok pizza. The chicken parm tastes frozen. My favorite however, are their baked goods. They have the best Italian cookies. They are close to the ones I remember in Little Italy. Also, the quality of the food differs at each location. The one on Second St. is the best.

Waiting for a table is not too bad. They try to get you in as fast as possible. It is really fun to watch when they are making fresh mozzarella.
