Description: Home for Bob Ciprietti is Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Growing up there and falling in love with the food, tradition, and people of NY inspired him to bring a little bit of home to Delaware. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware and now has locations in Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, MD. Each ristorante has a salumeria(deli) and a pasticceria (bakery) in house. Although our dining room opens at 11 AM, the bakery and deli open at 10 AM. We are known for our most popular Chicken Parm, our mozzarella, our crispy bread, our internationally recognized brick oven pizza, our pasta, and our eclairs. It's important to us that when you dine with us you enjoy a true authentic Italian experience with good food, friends, family, and great conversation. Stop by for a glass of wine and some good pasta or some meatballs and bread. Regardless of your choice, you won't be disappointed.

We were staying in a hotel and had ordered food from a local pizza place. The food never arrived. Despite calling them back, the food never did come. In the end we went out walking looking for a place to eat. Not far from our hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, we came across the Touch of Italy. . Although there was a mix-up in the order, and although we had to wait a long time, we were indeed pleased. The food was substantial and quite tasty. I'd double check on your order to make sure what they provide is what you ordered.

We dine at Touch of Italy twice a month. The service is always excellent. Pizza & pasta dishes are very good. Nice atmosphere, not too fancy. Best Italian food in Lewes. My only hesitation is they close at 9pm on weekdays, 10pm would be better.

We discovered ToI by accident while biking in the fall of 2012 and have not stop going since. Perfect lunch after biking the Rehoboth-Lewes trails. Great wine, delicious food and AWESOME service that makes you feel at home or at a cozy restaurant in Rome.

Buon Appetito!!

A corner Italian Deli and Bakery that turned out to have the best fettuccine Alfredo and thin crust pizza w/mozzarella and Italian sausage. My wife loves Alfredo sauce that is not too garlicky and home made pasta and that's exactly what she got. My pizza had a pesto sauce with big spheres of home-made mozzarella and Italian sausage that was not to spicy. And of course my wife and I both had eclairs with Ann assortment of Italian cookies to take back to the hotel. If your in Lewes, don't miss it. Don't get fooled by looking inside from the sidewalk trying to find the tables and chairs. After 5 or 6 steps inside the store you'll see them plus a bar for drinks or wine!!!
