After brousing the craft fair at the Historical Society in Lewes, we crossed the drawbridge for lunch at the Whart. We had a great seat at the deck's edge and watched the parade of boats and people coming under the bridge. The entertainment of the day was an adorable yellow lab who dove in the water time and again to fetch a large stick and run back up the ramp. The dog, the crew and passengers finally sailed away on a day excursion/fishing boat. Then we could turn our attention to what a great lunch we had been served. The food was all excellent with really generous portions, friendly, attentive service by a super friendly young waitress.
