Why deal with traffic, when you can sit and relax on the ferry, save wear and tear on your vehicle. I use the ferry regularly and it's always a great experience. Especially when it's sunny & warm outside, you can relax on the upper deck. Or if its cold out, the lounge is nice & warm, comfy, and updated with comfortable seats, lots of outlets available with USB ports to charge your devices. And both terminals are great too. Nice view there and surprisingly good food.

We have only gone on the Ferry during the summer months.
You can get a schedule on line. It is a relaxing ride. One side
Cape May a beautiful historic town and then you have Delaware
and the outlets and shopping. It cuts out a lot of driving time.

If you have not taken the ferry lately, there have been improvements made. Same old bland snacks but now the chairs are very comfortable and modern either placed around tables or lined up like movie seats facing a large flat screen TV. A good way to break up a long north south (or the reverse) trip.

Thank you for your review and pointing out that there is a lot to see and do in the Twin Capes region. We understand that pricing is always a concern for our guests and are happy that we have not had a price increase since April 2010. Happy you had a good experience and we hope to see you in the future!

Nice added feature to the ferry between Lewes Delaware and Cape May. We use the Ferry in December prior to New Years Eve this year and were pleasantly surprised by the very nice theatre seats in the inside area for passengers. Very comfy and the operators put a 50 " wide TV screen on the wall for the passengers to watch during the 80 minute ride to Cape May. Saw my beloved Giants take out the Eagles and it was a glorious expierence. Worth the money and u save 120 miles by taking the Ferry from Lewes if your going to Atlantic City NJ.
