“Good choice of crab dishes and sides”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

Menu includes both blue crab whole, in soup, in dip and sauces, and as crab cakes. There is an all you can eat option for blue crab, as well as fried chicken and a few other items. The side items include whole corn on the cob, hush puppies. Also homemade fried potatoes (like French fries) to hold you over till your food arrives.
Atmosphere was utilitarian - some booths and tables with paper on top to make your crabby mess on.

“Great Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

My family and in-laws ate here on one of our first nights in Bethany Beach and we were all very satisfied with our meals as well as the prices. Although our waitress was very nice, she was a little inefficient with bringing our drinks. We would go back for a second visit next time we're in town, though. The food was THAT good.

“Maybe if you're going for the crabs?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited again on our beach vacation this year and were disappointed. Since none of us were ordering steamed crabs, we sat on the Oyster House side and ordered off the menu and found most of the dishes to be pretty mediocre. Appetizers were calamari and some mussels, just ok (although I will say the fresh made complimentary potato chips with onion dip were really good!). For our entrees we had the bbq ribs - which were under seasoned, the crab cakes - which I found to be bland with too much filler, and the crab/shrimp saute which was perhaps the best meal at our table. Couple the mediocre food with the less than stellar service - asked when we were seated what the catch of the day was - said she would check but then asked if she could take our order before she even went to find out what they were offering! When she returned we were told it was snapper until that ran out, then it would be mahi mahi - but she wasn't sure if they still had snapper. When the to-be-shared appetizers arrived, we were only given 4 plates for 7 people, when we asked for more plates, she said ok but they never arrived. Maybe if you're going for steamed crabs this is the place to go?

“Crabs, crabs, crabs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013

Got the all you can eat crabs/chicken/corn for $$37..... Save room for the crabs! Plenty of Old Bay on the table! Crabs were perfectly cooked and hot when getting on the table! Although a few were light and one defiantly "bad", chicken was great and corn on the cob good! Come in with an empty belly and you won't be dissatisfied! All-in-all a very good meal. Waitress was very attentive and additional crabs/drinks brought quickly.
