It's always busy, and therefore noisy. But the service is usually very good, and the food, good pub grub. It's not comfortable, as the chairs are hard oak pub chairs, and the décor is basic wood tables, but if you want value for money, and plenty of it, you will get it at the Oak. If you are looking for a romantic meal, or fine cuisine don't even go there!
