This is the second time we have dined at the Inn at Woodstock for dinner -- not including for any special events. On this dining trip, there were two of us.
We were the only couple when we arrived. Our server was prompt to greet us and welcomed us in to the table of our choosing. We ordered cocktails and were served those promptly as well. The dinner specials were offered and we were given a few moments to look over the menu - as well as enjoy our cocktails and fresh, warm rolls and breads.
Our entrees each came with a salad - caesar or house. Both were reasonable, fresh and dressings were just the right amount and delicious. Our entrees were right on time, hot, incredibly tasty and just works of art. Presentation is top notch at The Inn...as is taste!
The menu is pricey....you are paying for the food - taste and quality as well as the experience of dining at this quaint little Inn. Our entrees were each in the $35-$55 range and, while excellent, such an evening is reserved for certain events. We will return for other special occasions!
