“If you want a Celtic Hooters, this is the place”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Was taken here recently by some male friends from college, former varsity athletes. I thought that it was just another Irish pub until I got inside and saw the scantily clad waitresses. The crowd was, as one might expect, overwhelmingly male. The place is faux-Irish/Scottish, very clean, and with heavy emphasis on (aside from buxom waitstaff in push-up bras, tight little tops and micro-kilts), sports on TV. Everywhere there was not some Gaelic memorabilia there was a huge TV screened with a sporting event on it.

While heavy on the testosterone in the restaurant, the food was actually very good. It seemed like just the right place for a burger, and it was. Our very nice server (CC) took time to explain the menu, and suggested various burgers once she figured out what we wanted. The service was very attentive and of a group of four, every meal was good. The dessert menu was limited to just about four items I think but we sampled two and they were also good. Plenty of beer on tap.

The prices were reasonable and while I am not sure I would take little children there (and there were a fair number of very young boys with their dads) it was clean and good and interesting. It is a franchise, and likely one that will keep spreading. Aside from the very healthy-looking young ladies showing lots of cleavage and more, it could have been any nice chain sports bar.

“Good selection”

Very friendly service and a great beer selection. Provocative outfits certainly don't detract from rhr experience.

“high rating because of boobies, not food”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

When others say this is the Irish Hooters, they are puting it lightly. The waitresses are wearing skirts so short you can see their bloomers when they walk, they're bellies are bare, and their boobs are pushed up and extremely exposed. Every waitress was covered in tattoos and piercings, and not a one was even slightly attractive. We ordered an irish stew and the shephards pie. Neither one was bad, they were seasoned well, but really nothing spectacular. I can't imagine why this place would have such a high rating besides the fact that there are jiggling boobies in your face the whole meal. The waitresses were nice and sat down with you, but really why would you do that to yourself? If you bring your kids here you need some parenting lessons.

“good food”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

I had never heard of this chain when we first went there. I was surprised at the waitresses' uniforms. Think Hooters in a micro kilt. I have never been a fan of these types of sexist eateries. However (and this is a big however) the food is awesomely good. We had the shepard's pie and Irish stew, and both were extremely good, very flavorful. There are a lot of other items on the menu we want to try next time. The wait staff was extremely sweet and the service was quite good. There are TVs peppered all around the room (unfortunately, all tuned to sports; oh, well). This is in a building that has housed a number of restaurants temporarily over the years; I hope this one lasts longer than its predecessors.

“Decent”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Went with a party of 14 on a Friday night. They found seats for us in less than an hour which was good seeing how busy it was. Overall thought the food was OK... decent portions but quality was nothing to rave about. Prices were good. Nice bar selection.
