I've been a loyal customer of this place for well over a year now.. We usually eat there a couple of times per month., I think I'm done now, after the last few experiences we've had. the sushi is still very, very good, but the service issues are just way too disappointing and affect the overall experience in a VERY negative way.
In the last couple of months, I've seen the service get worse and worse and one time, my mother and I even witnessed an all out screaming match between a group of about 10 clearly enraged servers. Not really what you want to see when you are out to have a nice time and are spending your hard-earned cash to be there.
We went again last Monday and I'm not sure if I've ever had such poor service ANYWHERE before. We waited a half hr for our drinks. We only got them because I went on a kitchen safari to find our server and ask that we finally get them.
We waited another half hr for our food and then only one person at our table got his. I waited another 15 minutes and then went to hunt down our food as well. I could not find a hostess, a waitress or anyone that seemed to be working there. I did however, see that our massive sushi order was ready and sitting atop the sushi bar. Again, I went into the kitchen and this time basically threw a fit and told them to at least bring us the sushi that was sitting there. My god. The place wasnt even busy and they couldnt bother waiting on us. Amazing!
The sushi was good, as always, but i think it's time for me to find a new regular spot.. The service is TERRIBLE.
