What a lovely hidden treasure in Westport. I had not been to the area in over a decade and was delighted to discover this charming Zagat rated restaurant in a courtyard. Its intimate atmosphere, lovely linens, china, flowers, and extremely helpful yet subtle server, Jeff, made our visit worthwhile. He introduced a white wine from the Gavi region of Italy and suggested a tuna tartare laced with avocado for a starter, followed by the tasty moist swordfish special and a mouthwatering fruited half duck cooked to perfection. Being so pleased with dinner we suggested Jeff surprised us with only one dessert, a lemon tart with delicate fruit topping, almost too pretty to eat. Blue Lemon is well worth a visit.
