This place is HARD to find, but I had read the other reviews and found myself in Westport at lunch time. Ordered oysters on the half shell as a snack, they were really fresh, properly shucked and very briny sweet. I had the fried clam lunch, my husband the fried fish sandwich, both came with fries. The fish was fresh, the breading crisp, crunchy and greaseless.
There are a few tables and we ate our lunch there, with malt vinegar for the fries.
The only reason that I didn't give this place a 5 star review: the tv is on and LOUD. Lunch was perfectly cooked, but not cheap, why did I need to have a collection of newscasters yammering on and on about the presidential debates to give me indigestion?
