For spotty service, sitting close to a noisy bar and not much to the rustic table setting…you really have to love this place to go for their decent burgers….. The woman next to us was dying from hunger and asked for bread 2 times..finally I gave her some of ours…which was pretty good..as were the burgers and the comfort food…just not worth the price or the tumult

“Bland food, good interior design”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2014

We've been twice and will not return. Wonderful environment from the same owners as "The Spotted Horse Tavern" in Westport, but suffers from the same shortcomings. Well written menu, great place to take kids, but they really need someone to re-create their dishes and take charge in the kitchen. How do you mess up a BLT? Who can't make good nachos?! They found a way. PS they do make great chips. Have them and a beer and call it a day.

“If you have to take your kids- just get a beer”

The food is awful. Decor is lovely, fireplace enticed me but the food was beyond tasteless. Will never go back. great menu for the little ones though and they won't care.

“Great casual spot; very rustic and comfortable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2014

went for lunch and it was very cozy and nicely renovated. Arrived at 12:30 and sat immediately although there were few tables left. You can eat at the bar as well. They did a nice job on the renovation; much improved since it was Swanky Franks. Rustic atmosphere, family friendly, nice menu; burgers, salads, tacos and a large variety of cocktails. I had the house salad with addition of grilled salmon which was nice and satisfying. Really liked the look of the burgers and those sweet potato fries served on a baking tray. Nice fireplace, sports on the screens and i will be back with my husband for dinner soon.

“New Spot in Westport”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2014 via mobile

Been there couple times now and even though there were some bad reviews, i pawned it off as the kitchen getting comfortable with menu. In the end it was good call going. Everything I had there was amazing. The fish and chips were very tasty and good portion for lunch, (use the tarter sauce). The second time i went we tried some appetizers, we got calamari and nachos both were great. For dinner i got the bacon egg and cheese burger, which was very tasty. Overall give this new spot a chance
