I had the Ahi Tuna that truly was a delight to savor. The meal was not only delightful but pleasantly filling. The atmosphere supports an intimate gathering, friends or a family with older children. The price is reasonable and the staff is attentive.

Delightful food, great value and attentive staff, Sophia's has hit the trifecta for the restaurant industry.

We stopped there for lunch on a Friday, the place was empty, beside us there was 2 other small parties. Half of the dinning area was closed and apparently one server on duty.
We asked for 3 diet cokes and 3 chopped salads....couldn't be easier than that...
Well, it took 10 full minutes for our beverages to arrive and 42 for our salads. Unheard of!!
3/4 of our glasses were filled with ice and they had the courage to charge for refills. Can't comment of the quality of their pasta dish but nor I have the desire or intent to one day ever try.
If I can give one word of advise, don't walk away from there..RUN away and fast!

We pulled up here 5 on a Friday and it was a ghost town. We took a chance. It paid off. Italian was delish. A glass of moscato, zuppa di pesce with a few substitutions and short ribs - all wonderful. Fresh pasta would have been a nice touch. Service was wonderful and accommodating. Smelled smoke though, maybe you can smoke at the bar? Not sure what CT law is but FYI. Toddler was not having a great night, but server was very understanding and helped move us along so we could get back on the road again. Atmosphere was really what could be most improved. Wood paneling and yucky carpet...drop ceiling. Menus were a little dingy. They could really spruce it up a lot with some little touches. But regardless, it was one of the best meals we had at CT. Good pricing.

Also, a raccoon? squirrel? almost fell through the drop ceiling right when we came in the main dining room!!!
