This lively restaurant is always busy! The outside seating area in the warm weather is inviting and attractive. The service is always very good. However, based on our last four visits here, twice for lunch, twice for dinner, there are some inconsistencies. The biggest problem we've had here was at lunch when one of the specials was trout. My husband found it inedible and sent it back, ordering something else, but by the time that dish arrived, his appetite had disappeared. The calamari appetizer is one of our favorites. Salmon dishes are always good. Pasta dishes can be quite large! But, beware! You could break a tooth on the cannoli! Our waitress said the shells are supposed to be very hard, but none of the Italian bakeries at we have purchased cannoli match the hard shells. Stick with the sorbet!
