This was my second experience with this restaurant-the first -friends got take-out pizza- a step down from supermarket frozen pizza=
then I went there with a business acquaintance--just a quick lunch--the place had one other patron sitting down---I was surprised by the high walls enclosing the booths-felt like a jail not a restaurant with bad artwork on the walls-the place had all the charm of a basement!
I ordered the house salad--granted its a pizza joint but I already had their awful excuse they call a pizza-the salad while fresh and plentiful wasn't tossed and came with a covered container of dressing on the side-what they couldn't toss the salad? It was lettuces with piles of other vegetables placed on top-NOT a salad!
My guest had their "special" meatball sandwich which he also said was ordinary hardly a sterling vote of confidence. The service was pleasant. and the only bright note of lunch was the unexpected surprise of a scoop of complimentary sorbet-which was very good.
