We stayed at this mini-resort style hotel for two nights at the beginning of our safari. From the airport it was about 40 minutes, and then we settled into our bungalows among the trees and quiet garden paths of this pleasant hotel complex. We ate a late dinner under the trees and near the campfire, while others dined under the main building's thatched roof. The morning breakfast buffet was hearty and tasty. I enjoyed walking the grounds and catching sight of the monkeys in the trees; the kids liked swimming and playing in the pools. The bungalow rooms were spacious and, ours also included a central public sitting area that was shared among the three or four private rooms of that bungalow. Dinner menus were interesting and delicious. Hotel also has a nice gift shop.
Location is nice because it is just around the corner from Arusha National Park, which was our first day's outing on this safari and thus making this hotel a great location.More
