The hotel is fine. So what's the problem? They TRIPLE-CHARGED me for my stay and still, six weeks later, haven't removed the charges... even though everyone I've talked to at the hotel and at national headquarters agrees that they should not have charged me for three nights when I only reserved and stayed for ONE. Oh, and I have a loyalty card with these folks--we (used to) always stay at Homewood Suites. So imagine how easy to deal with they will be if you AREN'T a regular customer!
I've called the hotel and the national 800 number 5 times, wasting at least an hour of my life talking to people, and supposedly something is being done, but nothing yet. Their last suggestion was that I should scan my credit card statement and email it to them. Uh... WHY? They have my credit card info; the woman who asked me to scan my statement was looking at the charges on her computer screen as we spoke! Apparently they think it's not hassle enough to call them 5 times over a period of two weeks, I should also go get my paper statement and put it on a scanner to email it to them. WTH?!?! I don't ever plan on giving these morons my credit card info again, because we'll be staying elsewhere.More
