Recently had dinner here while at Mohegan sun for a concert. Atmosphere was great, large selection of tequilas. My husband and I shared the fajitas, the variety of fillings was great, I never would have tried shrimp fajitas but they were oh so good. Tables are close together so don't be surprised about the level of noise but it just enhanced the party atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Fun bar, good drinks. Try the salsa - one of the best around and the warm tortilla chips. We were put off by the attitude of the ladies at the front hostess desk and almost left. As three somewhat more mature - not the "typical young bar crowd" patrons - we dared to ask for one of their empty tables for appetizers and drinks (not dinner) and were rudely dismissed despite the several empty tables. Turns out we were happy we stayed at the bar!

Hubby and I have eaten at Sol Toro several times.
The good things: service has been pretty good every time we've eaten there. The tableside guac, while a bit pricy, is absolutely excellent. Good selection of margaritas and a decent by the glass wine list. Reasonable selection of vegetarian enchiladas. Good selection of tacos. Large portion sizes; my enchilada order had 3 enchiladas plus rice and beans. The chips come warm to your table (and they go great with that tableside guac.
The could be better things: It's noisy. This is not an intimate restaurant. It's not that large, so there can be a wait for tables when there is an event in the casino. The cheese enchiladas were a bit heavy the last time I was there, and the filling was not really hot, more like warm, no gooey cheese spilling out when you cut into them.
Bottom line - reasonably good service, acceptable food with a 'chain'like' feel. Nothing that makes you want to rush out to come here, but nothing that would make you stay away either.

Mohegan Sun has a winner in Sol-Toro. Stopped in on a busy Fri around 6.15 for an early dinner and discovered a major concert scheduled for 8 pm in the Sun Arena, [Great Venue by the way] Restaurant was already packed with a line out the door. Proceeded to the bar and quickly secured two seats with a view of the casino and entrance to Sol-Toro. Service was prompt and two excellent Margaritas arrived in a flash. A bucket of fresh Tortilla chips, 2 different signature salsas and a freshly made guacamole were just right for our happy hour attitude. After people watching, and reviewing the Sol-Toro staff handle a constant stream of patrons, we chose 2 dinners off the regular menu, A N.Y. strip although pricey at $35 was very good and well presented, and a Veracruz style Talapia was equally as good and didn't disappoint. After witnessing the meals being served around us,and watching a competent staff in action, we will return to the Sun-Bull. Its a sure bet-
