“Grand breakfast”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

Breakfast at Todd's Tuscany at Mohegan Sun is glorious. I had the french toast which comes on some type of crunchy bread with blackberrries, blueberries and creme fraiche; my friend had the vanilla pancakes and another traveler had the eggs that come with fingerling potoatoes. All of the food was delicious and the atmosphere is charming. You feel like you are in a beautiful cave in Italy. The best part is all the breakfasts average about $10.00; a bargain for what is served. Very large portions. The only suggestion I have is to eat inside, although the outside space is really spectacular (under the waterfall) it is very noisy.

“Melt in your mouth filet mignon”
Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

Dinner time and no wait. Sat by the gorgeous water fall wall. Great ambiance. Enjoyed the most delicious melt in your mouth filet mignon, cooked to perfection, finished in their brick oven. Pricey, yes but worth every cent. You literally get what you pay for. I'm a filet fanatic and this was by far THE best I've ever eaten. Cannot wait to go back!

“Disappointed”
Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

I ate here about 2 years ago and thought it was good. But the best thing I can say now is the food is freshly frozen.
Had the Flatbread - Bronx bomber with pepperoni , the flatbread was burned, black on the bottom, the thing was tasteless.the Dough tasted frozen I had better at SAMs discount club, from the frozen food section. I had the fried calamari which was all breading couldn't taste the calamari. -Also had the lobster cannelloni , tasteless , also frozen. The only thing that was fresh was the cesar salad which was good. Also the bread and olive and bean dip that accompanied the bread was also good. Our only thing that saved us we didn't order an entree. We didnt expect such poor quality. The place had maybe 4 tables going at 6pm so we should have known better. Obviously won't be going back

“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

I really enjoyed the variety of choices. It is true to advertising as far as the Italian theme and the selection should leave you smiling. However, as we found, if anyone in your group wants a fine cut of steak they won"t be disappointed. The flavours are bold and you start off with a couple of fine spreads for the bread basket (the black olives spread was excellent). The flatbread was a big hit both for taste (lots of choices) and value.

We ate early at the bar in front of the waterfalls. This is an area of the restaurant open to the food court/shops. The staff was both helpful and very friendly. The meals arrived in timely fashion just as the cocktail crowd arrived. We were quite content but if you are seeking a more intimate dining experience you should try eating inside.

“Not your typical buffet”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

If you prefer quality over quantity, you may want to try the Tuscan Table at Tuscany. When compared to the obiquitous all-you-can-eat casino buffets, there is no contest. Yes, $23 is pricey, but you get what you pay for. The day we went, there were over a half dozen salads, including Caesar, Thousand Island Beef, calamari and chickpeas with tomatoes. The carving table had roast pork loin with barbecue sauce. Entrees included steak in a hunter sauce, red snapper with salsa fresco, chicken with sweet and sour kumquat sauce, three flat breads, mussels and two pastas, including stuffed cannalonis, as well as roasted potatoes and roasted cauliflower. Then there was a whole table with desserts. Everything is constantly being changed and updated. The food is relatively hot and very high quality. This buffet is not for everyone ... but we loved it so much, and were celebrating, so we went back for lunch the next day, where the carving station had steak, the chicken had a barbecue sauce, there was pork in the hunter sauce and shrimp scampi among the pastas. Being my birthday, the waitress also served me a complimentary fallen chocolate cake. Too much food, but hard to stop eating when it was just so good.

Make sure to ask to eat inside if you plan on talking. The waterfall outside is VERY loud.
