We just spent another overnight at Mohegan Sun and were once again pleased with the overall experience. Check in/check out and the valet service were a breeze. Our room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely be back.
We also like the casinos at this resort-fun slot machines and not smoky.

Right now into third day of a three-night stay. I have been coming here twice a year for the past seven years and I think it is time to move on. The check-in process is overly complicated with unacceptable wait times. Often, rowdy 20-somethings cause minor disturbances on the floors late at night. The valet and bell staffs are wonderful, the concierge smiles a lot but isn't concerned with mid-level guests, the front desk staff is harried and undertrained. Guest Services and Housekeeping are great and responsive. Mohegan Sun is showing the stresses of a down economy and a diminished bottom line, and while it is still an acceptable experience, it is no longer great.

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms overlook the river while odd numbers overlook the roofline and parking lots. Accessible rooms are odd numbered and generally end in 55..

We finally got to stay here when our card offer had a great rate..too good to ignore! I wanted a room on the highest floor we could get, with a river view. It was worth the wait at the front desk..We got the 32nd floor with a great river view...room was quiet, bed was comfortable and bathroom was a good size.
The only negative was the closest parking was a walk through the casino with bags, unless you used the valet and bell hop. We managed though and enjoyed our overnight stay. Would stay again when we get the next great rate offer!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor with a river view.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your stay! We're happy to hear that you had a good time!

Our property is quite big so we would encourage you to use the hotel valet next time you stay with us. All of our valet services are complimentary.

Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

The rooms are comfortable with great views. The reason is the various casinos off the lobby. That has more then enough options for serious gamblers. They smoke and second hand smoke permeates the public areas. Many different fast food and third party places to eat, but the Season's Buffet is owned by hotel and has the best options for picky eaters and is value priced. They ask you if you want a mini bar, but they take out anything you try to add. There is an ice machine on every floor. The rooms are well maintained by the housekeeping staff and the appointments are in line with the room rate.

Room Tip: The higher you go the better. There are non smoking floors.

The hotel offered special rates to Mohegan Club Players Card members during the month of May. This is their way of showing loyalty to club members and it is a welcome gift to receive these special rates. We ate at the Summer Shack which had a wonderful display of fish dishes. We also ate at Michael Jordon's Bar and Grill which was very good. They do offer a three pound hamburg to anyone up for the challenge. We wanted to try Bobby Flay's American bar and grill but it tended to be a little pricey but was rated as an excellent gourmet restaurant and one of the top restaurants in the Mohegan Sun. One lunchtime we opted to eat at Booby (Flay's) Burgers which featured great burgers and was a quick stop between gambling games.

Room Tip: One special security precaution is that each guest must show their room key before getting on the elevators to the hotel rooms.
