“World Class Service”

This could possibly be one of the best establishments to stay out. I recently stayed here for several nights. Their attention to detail is simply amazing. All the staff in the hotel(front desk, housekeeping etc) were all very friendly and personable. You could tell they the upkeep of the property is a top priority as everything still looks virtually brand new despite being 10 years old. The room is well appointed and attractive along with the great view overlooking the river.

They have an abundance of restaurants, and the several I tried were all excellent serving fresh food and had friendly staff.

The casino floor is large with thousands of slots and hundreds of table games. All staff was friendly there as well.

It is not too often in today's traveling world with all the cutbacks that you encounter an establishment that still provides the service I found here. They should be recognized for it.

Room Tip: All the rooms provide great views of the river.

Just visited Mohegan Sun - we stayed 2 nights and didn't even win any money but we still did not want to leave!!!! It is simply that great. Everyone was friendly - from the guys checking in our car and luggage, to the guy checking in for our room, to the waitress at the buffet - could not find a bad thing to say about the place. We did not get to eat at the Michael Jordan's restaurant but heard it was fantastic. The casino host we worked with was simply the best. Got lost a few times but who cared. Heard a fantastic group at the "Free" Wolf Den concert (sorry can't remember their name) but I was dancing as I was playing the slot machines!!!! We are from Tennessee and although a long trip we will go back. Even if you don't like casinos, this is a must - if you like casinos, then it is an absolute must!

This is a nice Vegas style themed casino and hotel. The second largest casino in the U.S. keeps the Native American theme of the Mohegan Tribe and is located on the Thames river where every room offers beautiful views of the surrounding reservation. Guest rooms are roomy and full of amenities, however was turned off by the costly mini bar/fridge and rooms are a bit over priced. Plenty of restaurants in this resort, however also over priced. I did enjoy the indoor pool with its outdoor lounge, perfect for year round use. The atmosphere alone sells this resort and far exceeds the neighboring Foxwoods which has the appearance of a convention center full of slot machines. For the non gamblers there's plenty of nightly entertainment, for those who wish to test their luck you'll find two very large casinos within Mohegan Sun offering every type of gaming. Haven't attended a concert in the arena yet, but I do intend to return and see a performance there.

We stayed one night and absolutely loved it. Got a package and upgraded to a suite. It was during the week with no shows so the price was reasonable and well worth the cost. I was thinking the whole time why haven't we done this before. The room was perfect. It overlooked the lake. Every detail was thought of. The staff was so friendly. We went to the pool area and used the hot tub. We walked outside to the outside bar with the firepit. We're not big gamblers but it was fun just walking around shopping, eating and drinking and then going back to the room. The room came with a pizza and drinks at Lucky's. We went later in the evening. It was a huge pizza and good too. If we had known it was that good we may have done that earlier in the evening.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mohegan Sun Hotel. The front desk agent that checked us in was awesome. He was friendly, and helpful. We had arrived late for our dinner reservation due to traffic, our desk agent offered to call the restaurant to hold our reservation I thought this was a kind gesture. We were given a great room on the 9th floor overlooking the river. I have no complaints about our room, new linen, nice decor, clean! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Talk to the agent checking you in. I mentioned we were there to celebrate my dad’s 74th birthday an...

We stayed at Mohegan Sun for 3 nights starting August 30th. We've stayed there several times before, and have always enjoyed the hotel completely. The rooms are always immaculate, the hotel staff, housekeeping, etc. is always friendly and helpful. Room service is prompt and the food always hot. An added plus to this stay was that we had lost power from the hurricane at home, so we were able to escape that for 2 of the nights!

We also love the casino. We rarely win any money, but it's always so much fun. The dealers at the tables are friendly, and if you don't know what exactly to do, they'll help you if needed.

Another favorite place is Leffingwells, the martini bar, where the bartenders are SO friendly, and it is the most pretty atmosphere!

I used the spa, only for a brow waxing. Not the best I've had, and pricey on top of it, but other than that, the spa is lovely. I've had wonderful massages there in the past, and love the hot tub and saunas you can use afterwards.

The pool is indoor, but in the summer, they open large windows/doors to the large patio, where they have comfy loungers, couches and cabanas. Next summer, I plan on getting a cabana.

We will be returning for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, just to get away from all the craziness of the holidays.

I would recommend this hotel to pretty much anyone and everyone!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor overlooking the river.

We have been lucky enough to have a brother-in-law with a lot of points at this casino and he recently treated us and another family member to an overnight stay at this luxury hotel. We stayed in a suite- complete with a beautiful view of the river, 2 large rooms, and a bathroom suite nearly the size of a NYC studio apartment. There was a Keurig in the kitchen area- too. Our aunt and uncle stayed in one of the apartment sized end suites which was absolutely stunning and embarassingly spacious! The indoor pool is top notch and has a well stocked bar around it, the gym is state-of-the-art and an Elemis spa and salon tops off the memorable experience. The surrounding restaurants are not to be missed- loved Bobby Flay's Bar American and hit Frank Pepe's pizza twice (soooo good!!). The kids love it there and the arcade is pretty loose- nice training for future gamblers... Great getaway that makes you feel you were faraway than you actually were.
