We both like Bobby Flay's programs on TV. We went to Bobby's Burger Palace with high expectations given the name and his desire for quality on the shows. The restaurant was not busy, the seats were about 40% full. As others have mentioned, you order and pay up front and then seat yourselves putting a number in front of you.
The food is not cheap, however that was expected and it would not stop me from going back. The service is very uneven. The person bussing the area was friendly and quick to clean up. The servers and cooks seemed disorganized. A server brought our burgers and we asked about the fries. She said there were no fries on the bill. She asked for our bill and went away. She came back with 1 order and said she had been looking at the wrong order, but the burgers were correct. We asked about the 2nd order of fries and she said there was only 1 on the bill. We looked and she was right. We were not paying attention when the cashier was punching it in. I know I said fries, but this would be a fault on both sides.
The hamburger was very good, perfectly cooked. If I had 1 suggestion it would be to have a slightly thicker bun on the bottom as juices from the burger and toppings went right through and I ended up holding the burger. The fries were good and the dipping sauce was also very good. We had vanilla shakes which were thick and tasty.
Summary: The food is good to very good but the service could use some work. I would recommend trying it.
