“Tasteless”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

The best part were the desserts. The warm dishes were tasteless and I think that they had stayed under the hot lamps for too long. The sushi they served was also quite interesting, not very good quality, didn't taste fresh and after one bite I decided not to eat the rest as I didn't know when it had been made. I went there as I got a free voucher but would try something else next time.

“Breakfast buffet a good deal”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Tried the breakfast buffet last week and they really do have everything. It's $12.50 but if you ate breakfast in one of the restaurants with juice and coffee you'd spend at least that anyway.

Best to walk the whole buffet and see everything before you grab a plate. The only thing I don't remember seeing was oatmeal but it's possible they had it and I missed it, there is so much stuff. Pre-cooked scrambled eggs but they make-to-order omelets and fried eggs. Four kinds of bread and four kinds of bagels for toasting. All the breakfast meats plus carved smoked ham and sirloin. Plain pancake, blueberry pancakes, french toast, stuffed french toast and waffle sticks. Cheese blintzes with toppings. A mini yogurt bar with toppings. Mini croissants, corn muffins and pastries. Cold cereals, lots of fruit including bananas. Three kinds of quiche and some hot lunch/type dishes but I didn't look there. They may have had a few desserts but I never ventured down that side past the mini croissants. Too many choices not enough room in the belly!

“The manager of this place knows how to run a great buffet!”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

What a spread of fresh, nontraditional buffet food for a great price. For $20 a head, you can't do better. Fresh oysters, clams and mussels, Asian dishes, Southern US and New England cuisine, Southwestern dishes and a whole lot to choose from for vegetarians. The manager of this place is a wonder! Very efficient and well-run.

“The best around”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Have visited on a few occassions and for all three buffets offered (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Selection is enormous - you really need to walk it all down and then start making your selections. Breakfast by far the best deal. Everything is top notch - better than what you would expect for a buffet. Mohegan Sun has really hit the mark with this one.
