The restaurant bills itself as American cuisine but the options aren't boring by any means. There's something for everyone. There's a mixture of seafood, veggie, and fried options as appetizers. The soups and salads are pretty standard fare, but the entrees offer an array of seafood, meat, and pork options. They do have steak and various chicken dishes as well. The poached lobster was heavenly, and my hubby tells me the NY strip was great.
The ambiance was cozy, with plenty of space around the tables. It is subdued enough to hold a conversation. Lighting is dim, which is lovely. Our waiter, Akeem, was very professional and got our order exactly right. The courses were appropriately spaced and we never needed to ask for anything.
Overall, excellent experience. Kudos to the staff.
