First visit after another change of hands for this restaurant - went for brunch with my husband and two friends. We were greeted promptly and sat at a table. The table next to us had been cleared, but there was spilled milk/food that was not wiped off for the whole time we were there - not very appetizing. The food, however, was very good - I had a spinach/cheese omelet that was excellent. My husband's Philly Cheese wrap was reported to be very good, as were the omelet and french toast our friends had. Our waitress was very obviously new and a bit nervous, She forgot parts of our meal (i.e toast), and did not always bring the right thing. She also was a bit confused with the check procedure. More training would help.

The Suffield Inn has changed dramatically after the previous owners left. The food is not the same as it used to. The staff is slow and unexperenced. Our waitress looked more like she was going to clean a house rather than serve tables, I even had to stack all the menus and extra cups that were on my table so i could have enough room for our food and last but not least the bartender was very rude and inconsiderate of the customers. I will never return! These new owners have completely destroyed what was once a good restaurant....

New owners? Same bad service. We started off at the bar (no servers around) and we did get our drinks with no problem but yet once again even with the new owner the staff disappeared. Waited 10 minutes for the bartender to show up. Found all the staff in the side dining room with the old owner. And yes, she was one one that glared at you from a previous rating and did nothing to help you. We keep on wishing that this place will return to good food and good service. Time to fire the entire staff and start new. Oh and clean the place. I'll try again in in a month.

Our first visit ever to the the Suffield Inn was this past Saturday, Cinco de Mayo. My husband and I had never been here but went to support a friends DJ friend. We had no idea what to expect but, hey, its just a meal and we like trying new places. If you like friendly service, great beer selection and yummy margaritas, freshly prepared and attractively presented food, then you should give this place another try!!!
Our group of four all ordered the Cinco de Mayo specials, especially after hearing that the chef is Mexican and was trained in Mexico. (Formerly of the Country Kitchen). Super Nachos were just that Super-with chili, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, black beans, freshly made chips and very filling. The fajitas were served with a separate plate of refried beans(freshly prepared),cheddar, seasoned rice, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and lime wedges with the chicken and steak served on sizzling platters with sliced peppers and onions. All entrees came with a substantial salad as well. We did not leave hungry, if anything, we definately needed to dance it off next door in the DJ/Karoke part of the restaurant. (which we did after meeting the chef and giving our compliments).
Okay , the negative's - the place looks dated, and you don't walk in thinking the food will be anything special because the old dark decor looks like "pot pie and london broil", and maybe a bit of background music and updated table lighting would help the empty dining room feel cozier.
Hope the new owner can make it work as we'd like to come back !

We just ate at the INN and cannot believe that 3 people were served 3 absolutely terrible meals. Burned Fahitas, Cold Vegetables in the Chicken dish and who knows what happened to the Fish Tacos. This will be our last attempt to support this restaurant. What a disappointment. We will do our best to take our pepto and make it throught the night. Wasted $$$ in Suffield... YUCK
