“Stratford's Chinese restaurants are going downhill”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I used to be a big fan of Hong Kong Tokyo (in the plaza by Marshall's) but it seems to have gone downhill since they redesigned it and my favorite waitress (Wendy) left. So, I decided to give "the new place" a try. The chicken wings were tiny, but otherwise the food was OK. The service was very, very slow, and I watched as the waiter coughed on his hands and then handed us plates. YUCK.

FYI, they do serve adult beverages but there's no bar.

Overall unimpressed.

“Great menu options!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Love the service here - everyone is treated as special! Have been here several times, for lunch as well as dinner. Have also done family and couples. The staff is great with kids as well as couples. Menu options are amazing - sushi is excellent (not a sashimi fan so can't speak to that). I usually get the Bento box (dinner and lunch sizes). Have also had tastes of the Chinese options. I've had shrimp teriyaki and shrimp tempura - both very good. Crispy tempura, cooked well, very little grease. Fried shrimp is freshly made as well. Dumplings are fried, with good tasting filling. California roll comes with the boxes - very fresh, with good portion of ginger and wasabi. Have the Chinese green tea - smoky flavor.
