Unique menu items with generally local and/or organic food. The atmosphere is relaxed and a good spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We've been to the Dog Lane Café many times and each time, it has always been an excellent dining experience. We went this past weekend and for the 1st time I had the Black Bean Burrito. It was fantastic choice, the burrito was whole wheat filled with smoked pepper jack, caramelized onions, kale, and house salsa. My wife continues to have the marinated chicken breast and she is always satisfied with this sandwich. It is a simple combination of marinated chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and chipotle mayo. I suggest giving this Café a try, you won't be disappointed with any of the menu selections.

Dog Lane Cafe is a great addition to the fairly new Storrs Downtown complex. We've been longtime fans of the Vanilla Bean and 85 Main, the other two restaurants in their 'collection', but Dog Lane Cafe benefits from being right on the edge of the UConn campus. Meals are always interesting, using locally sourced food. Be sure to try the ginger lemonade, and the orzo mac n cheese...two of my faves! Enjoy!

This is a reasonably priced restaurant with an interesting atmosphere. There is a feeling of community there and also a place where students frequent. I would highly recommend it.
