On campus, a convenient place to stay especially if you are visiting the campus. Austere but clean comfortable rooms. Place to eat at the locale (we didn't eat there).

If you are traveling to Storrs, CT or the nearby area...this is a great place to stay. I recently stayed (long term) at the Nathan Hale Inn while consulting at UConn. Very convenient location. Welcoming management and staff, nice rooms, and very quiet (even though it's on the UConn campus).

Ok...the food! Great burgers (Big Blue, my fav) and assorted bar food in the tavern, along with an excellent fine dining restaurant (Blue Oak) ...both in the hotel. Great service, diverse menu options, and a nice wine list. Some of my local colleagues met me (twice actually) for dinner and described The Blue Oak, as a "hidden gem".

I travel around the world for my business, and am always looking for a place where I feel at home...and am pampered. While I cannot always pick the town, I can always pick my hotel. And the well-managed Nathan Hale Inn is my choice in the area.

We stayed at the Inn for a college visit to UCONN. It is on campus, a little hard to find as the signs are limited, but you are in the center of one of the dorm areas and walking distance to the bookstore and basketball arena.

Staff was great, room was comfortable for 4 of us.

Even though there is nothing in the area, it is a great spot to stay if you are visiting UCONN.

Only disappointment was the charge for parking, it cheapened the experience. .

I spent two nights here while attending the U-Con at UConn event. My only real gripe was that there wasn't a clear sign identifying which buidling it was. I kind of drove back and forth on the road it was and through a process of elimination I was able to determine where it was. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spotless, and I slept great. If I attend U-Con again next year, I will be sure to return to this hotel.

Went for a 1-day conference, but because of the distance from home, I decided to spend the night and check out the area. Everyone was helpful and efficient, both from the perspective of a business meeting as well as a personal stay. When we had any problem or question during the meeting, it was quickly answered by the staff. And the food was much better than I am used to or indeed expect at such events. The room was neat and comfortable. Their sports bar is full of UConn memorabilia and it was a fun place to watch a game, though there weren't any home-team activities that night. It must be really fun when the home team is playing! The countryside is quite pretty and I will consider returning to explore it some more at my leisure.

Stayed at the Nathan Hale for one night to attend a UConn basketball game. The staff was first rate... great attitude and obviously has been trained on how to treat their guests. Everyone was very accomadating and pleasant. Anytime we saw an employee they would ask how we are doing and if we needed any assistance, even the maid service. We ate in the dining room for dinner and the food was surprisingly delicious. A little more pricey than we han anticipated, but WELL WORTH IT!!! Great service, big portions and great taste. Had a few drinks in the bar later that night and what a fun atmosphere... the decor with all the UConn memorabelia makes it very interesting and has a youthful energy to the place! Thanks again guys for making our visit to Uconn such a wonderful experience... we will be back! Mrs. Ryan
