Just DON'T go. Maybe for a beer. Mediocre food & service. Not too clean. Its sad that the places with the best views think that's all they need to succeed. Polish things up a bit--you have lovely location.

We went to skippers dock on the recommendation of the front desk at the Hilton. It was about a 15 minute drive from Mystic, but well worth it. We were seated immediately and the place was fairly crowded for a Tuesday evening. We sat right out on the dock and had a view of the water, the boats and the sunset. The food was good and the chocolate cake for desert was very rich, but very good. The service was good, out waitress was timely, food may have taken a little time, but once you're out of New York everything seems to be a bit slower so that didn't bother us so much and it's not like it was that much longer. We would try this place again.

This restaurant has it all! Beautiful, serene location, and incredible food!! Their crab cakes were delicious, and SO affordable!! My husband got the Guinness Battered Fish & Chips, and LOVED it, and my parents got the Haddock and really enjoyed that as well! I don't have anything bad to say about the place!! If you're in the Mystic/Stonington area, I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The service was extremely slow and the seating uncomfortable. The martini my husband had was ridiculously small and warm. Both dinners were terrible, overdone, salty and not worth eating. For the service and bad food, we paid too much and for our last night in Stonington were disappointed. We decided to go to Noah's for dessert and the night was redeemed.

We had lunch here this past Sunday and had a positive experience overall. The food was excellent. The salads were well-prepared and flavorful, and reflected skilled preparation. Clam chowder and crab cakes were excellent.

The atmosphere was great and we were treated to a reggae band playing a tribute to Bob Marley. This was very pleasant and relaxing on a sunny day.

Service was very slow from both the bar and the kitchen; clearly, our waitress brought orders to our table as soon as they were ready, but it is also clear that the kitchen and bar were understaffed. Overall, the food was worth the wait and the music was excellent. We would gladly return to this restaurant.
