“Excellent Mexican Restaurant”

The Food was excellent, authentic, large portions and great margaritas. It was a very small restaurant and does not take reservations.

“Authentic Mexican Cuisine and Blended Fruit Margaritas at Milagro”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

The food at Milagro is excellent, however only if you know what "great Mexican food" is. After 8 years of living in AZ, I consider myself a pro when judging good Latin/Mexican food/drinks from the bad. The one thing you never want is for your server to know less about the food than the customer does. Our server gave us the wrong quesadillas for our daughters. She also asked me to read the "drink board" when ordering my Margarita-pretty lame. The food and atmosphere are this cafe's saving grace. The decor is cheerful with a small indoor and outdoor dining areas. The pear and strawberry Margaritas were excellent. The guacamole and mole poblano(chicken with cocoa sauce)was some of the best I've tasted. Also, the salsa varieties were for every palate-from mild to "hold on to your horses" zippy. The menu is limited but enough to satisfy just about anyone. We were disappointed with the reluctant service and missing queso sauce that we enjoy in mostly every Mexican dining establishment. Food great-service needs an overhaul.

“Small but authentic and delicious”
Reviewed August 18, 2012 via mobile

Here on our boat. We are from Detroit where we have a long standing Hispanic population and fortunately great Hispanic and Latin food. Milagros's is excellent. Went early for lunch. Had camarones in a lovely tomato sauce with corn cake. My husband selected a more standard Mexican-American fare -- enchiladas. Both flavorful and proportioned nicely. Margaritas very good. Unexpected delicious "off-topic"meal for a harborside town with good seafood options.

“Authentic Mexican food.”

It was a nice surprise to find authenic food, for example enchiladas with delicious salsa verde and ceviche made to order (for example without onions). Very nice!

“Charming and Flavorful”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

Can't say enough good things. Very small maybe 25 seats max, but authentic and really good. Think Rick Bayless at a fraction of the cost. Waitress ordered for me. Side dish slaw was really unique and Chili Rellano was best I've had.
