Hot oil pizza is fantastic...... but service is awful. Absolutely no ambiance. Food served on paper plates. Very dark. Do take out instead

“The Best Pizza Anywhere”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

It doesn't look like much, but locals know this is the place to come for pizza. Those in the know pick the "hot oil" pizza, but any pizza for Colony is great pizza. Surprising, it didn't win the 2012 local pizza contest conducted by the Stamford Advocate, but most locals believe the paper was bias. If you want really great pizza, this is the place.

“A Stamford Icon”

Very good pies. A little overrated, but very good.

I'd come here more often if there wasn't construction going on in the area. Because of that, it takes 30 minutes to get there when it should only take 10 or 15. You should have good parallel parking skills if the small back lot is full and you end up having to park on the street.

I like the hot oil and sausage pie. Sorry, no slices here! The pizzas are usually better eaten fresh out the oven, so if you can eat here, go for it.
