Great food, very filling and tasty. Seats about 35 people and has a bar area. Came here for lunch with a colleague and we both enjoyed our food. They have vegan and meat entrees. As a starter, they serve banana chips. I ordered another basket of these and was surprised when the bill came that we were charged $4 for the second helping, but we were never told this.. These are equivalent to tortilla chips a Chile's. Presentation of the food is excellent. Parking in the back for about 5 cars, otherwise there is street parking. Had it not been for the additional charge for the chips would have given it 5 stars!

Stumbled onto it and felt really lucky. Wonderful food, friendly service. Atmosphere warm and dark. Small parking lot.

The food is great, but the service is NOT. Last time I went, the host basically made a face that I didn't have a "reservation" so he was like, well there is a seat available, but basically I had an amount of time to scarf down my food before I had to get up and make room for the reservation. They are very rude! They act like their restaurant is parked on a very nice neighborhood in Stamford, but ummm no it's not. Will not be going back, no thanks.

Brasitas is a favorite in Stamford. The food is very good, well prepared and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful, excellent service. Their drinks are excellent a nice place for a get together with friends.

We had dinner the first time in Brasitas on a Saturday night. The restaurant was full. A small restaurant in Stamford, small but romantic. The food was great! We had cerviche and Spanish sausage for appetizers, fried snapper and skirt steak for main courses. The cerviche was very nice, the sausage was a little salty, not the restaurant's fault because I don't think they made their own sausages. The fish and steak were delicious. And of course their famous salsa was really tasty! The staff were busy but still very helpful and attentive to our table. It was a lovely dinner and we will go back.
