I stopped in after work looking for a simple place with a water view. The Crab Shell was everything I looked for - ice cold beer in a plastic cup, delicious chowder, and (slightly overcooked) fried clams. I sat in the bar area where there is a limited menu, but the better outdoor view and atmosphere. Service was good, food was good, beer was cold. Prices are reasonable too.

I'll be back soon!

Nice location but there is no reason to eat here. Prices aren't cheap either especially for the quality of food. Would go for drinks again but not to eat.

Saturday night, went in for a drink after dinner next door at Dolce which was good. Went to the outside patio. Packed, band loud and not very good and just a mob scene. Couldn't get a red wine under 100 degrees so ordered a mixed drink that tasted like all mix. Bartender was rude, arrogant and just unwelcoming. I heard the food is decent and would only go back on a lazy afternoon if I can get a wine in glass and not 5 ounce plastic cup ($7). If you are over 30 you've grown out of this type of scene and if you are and haven't, it's time to...

Stopped by this local spot for a Saturday evening dinner. Place was packed. 30 minute wait for an outside table; immediate seating inside. Went inside and received good, prompt service. I ordered stuff shrimp; my wife ordered sesame crusted tuna. Had a couple drinks - nice. Good bartender. My shrimp was filled with crab, but the shrimp were overcooked and tough. My wife said her tuna was delicious. Key lime pie for dessert -- very nice. So, a mixed review.

They cook a mean stuffed sole! Better than i've had at some fine dining restaurants. Has a very casual feel, but the menu has lots of great options and thier lobster bisque is Delish! Nice patio and outdoor bar area.
