Located just north of the Merritt Parkway, this attraction offers a tremendous number of activities and sites for kids of all ages. Seasonal activities, such as maple syrup tapping demonstrations, are usually on the agenda, as well as regular activities, such as petting the animals in the barn. It's an excellent way to help children explore an older way of life.
There's also an excellent day care facility on the premises.

Something for the whole family to enjoy. Set on about 80 acres of land, the number of animal exhibits is impressive, you could spend half a day just meandering from one animal pen to another. They also have a great system of woods walking trails and a fantastically well designed and well integrated woods theme playground with small climbing walls and elevated bridges. Especially not to be missed is the on site observatory, which functions every Friday night with a well educated astronomer who's always ready to point out the notable features of the sky, very cool! Throughout the year the Nature center also hosts a number of festivals and events so it's a good idea to check the website to see what's going on. Highly recommend!

Took our grandkids. They loved it and we had fun too! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about animals. Special Lego exhibit was really spectacular. The outdoor play apparatus is creative and they have numerous hiking trails. Good family fun!

we often take our granddaughters to play in the park, see the farm animals, otters, etc. We check out the exhibit inside and their fave: animal rescue. What a place to picnic as well.
