“Great Place to Spend an Afternoon”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

My 4 year old twins and I LOVE the SM&NC. It is so peacefull and nice for them to be able to run and roam ahead of us without me worrying too much. There are lots of great animals, beautiful gardens and a wonderful playground. We spent the day roaming around and checking things out and then had a picnic lunch on the grounds. So relaxing. The only drawback was the restroom (near the gift shop)....needs an attendant to keep an eye on it during busy times...not very clean and lack of paper.

“Beautiful scenery”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

It is a mix between farm/ zoo and nature trails. Very beautiful for photos and a good laugh at all the animal noises you can hear. Deff recommended for kids and couples all ages really.

“the perfect place for families”
Reviewed May 28, 2012

If you have small children, bring them to the Nature Center where there is a fabulous, inventive playground, archaeological "dig" area, paths, farm animals, a lake with a waterfall, and a fabulous otter exhibit that you can watch for hours. You can picnic, and periodically there are special events, like tapping maple trees in the fall.

“Lovely walk and farm”
Reviewed May 5, 2012

I went here on a trip late last summer and enjoyed the walk through the woods. They have a wooden pathway so that even if you are in a wheelchair (or are paranoid about ticks) you can enjoy a walk through the woods. They had various stations with activities set up for children so the children could learn about plants or whatever. The farm was very interesting and I could see a wonderful attraction for the children. I did not get to the museum but will the next time I come I will make a point to see it.
