On the road from PA to RI, the Tabouli Grill saved us from a fast food lunch. We spotted it on the right in a strip mall as we were about to the next highway exit.
It was mid afternoon and we were the only customers. The two of us shared three small plates: a hummus with lamb shwarma, some baba ganoush and a small Israeli salad. We tried to eat it all because it was so good, but there was more food than we could manage. My dining companion, who has lived in the middle east, said the food was very authentic except that the baba ganoush was missing its lemon. Luckily, lemon quarters had been provided and we just stirred it in ourselves.
We texted the owner after our meal. She texted right back. Based on her reply, she obviously has a good sense of humor.
