“Best Italian in Stamford”
Reviewed June 6, 2014

I continuously come here at least twice a week for two years. Service and food are still top notch. Margherita pizza, Penne a la vodka and meatball and chicken parm sandwiches for lunch when i come. Consistent and delicious.

“Best Pizza, period!”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

I moved from New York to Stamford, Connecticut 3 years ago. In my mind, there was nothing, NOTHING better than New York Pizza until I tasted Remo's pizza. It gives some of the best Pizza places in New York a run for their money for sure. Prepared in a brick oven with nothing but fresh ingredients: Fresh vegetables, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, fresh tomatoes, fresh everything! If the Pizza was the only thing they had fresh then it wouldn't be that big of a deal but everything in this place seems to be fresh. The cannoli are out of this world. fresh cream filled. delicious! The meatball parm are a must as well. and so is the salad and the grilled calimari and everything else that strikes your fancy. Everything on the menu seems fresh and perfectly done. Heck! even the delivery and web ordering service is extraordinary!! geez...I recommend anyone stopping by Stamford or living there if you have not tried it, GO!!

The place is also a very family friendly place where you can bring friends, family, kids, etc. It gets crowded on certain days and believe me, you won't mind the wait. These guys know how to run a food establishment.

To the owners/managers/chef/cooks/wait staff: molto bene, hanno fatto un lavoro spettacolare!

“Real Napoletano Pizza in Stamford”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

Remo's Pizza on Bedford Street in Stamford CT is the perfect spot for a light supper -- order the large Napoletano pizza and a caesar salad, and share it with a friend and a glass of wine. Sitting outside on a Spring/Summer day, with Italian music playing, feels as authentic as sitting on a street in Rome....Other dishes are good too, but the 'go to' meal is the pizza and salad.

Be prepared for mediocre service, especially if its busy.

“Great Pizza, but Balsamic Chicken is my Go-To Dish”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

I live in town, and when I don't want to spend a lot of money on good, basic Italian food, I come to Remo's. Consistently good.

“Great food, ok service”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

we were told this was the best pizza in town and they were not wrong. very thin crust, crunchy. we took a table outside because the wait inside was very long, we sat with the menu and figured out our options and now were ready to order, so we waited, and waited-it was a busy night. then they seated a couple on the opposite side and the waitress came over right away and took their order. I was in shock-can't she see us???? A few minutes later a guy comes and takes our order. we ordered a margherita pizza w/spinach and also argula with eggplant and reggiano cheese-our sald came w/peppers rather than the eggplant but both were really tasty. another long wait and we got our check. other than the stressed service it was realy great food. would def. go back again.
