“Not Great - Not Terrible”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Stopped in on a Saturday during February with my family. Chelle's had all the booth's full with a variety of folks. Service was mostly prompt and efficient, a group of young gals seemed to manning the ship that day. Decent menu variety with a lot of the basics. We all opted for the lunch menu with clubs, hot dogs and burgers on order, so we cannot comment on breakfast fare. Lunch food was just eh. Not wonderful, not terrible, just something to throw into the tummy to get you by. Could obtain similiar quality at a Wendy's by our accord. We were unable to sample any shakes or ice cream as the gals said the freezers died and they lost all their ice cream product. Might be a nice place to go in the summer with their car hop service and ice cream options up and running. Inside cleanliness left much to be desired... most likely will not return, but may be a decent stop and experience for those who live close by.

“Go everyday except saturday”
Reviewed October 30, 2012

Sunday breakfast chef is awesome. Pancakes and poached eggs are delicious. Saturday cook is different than usual and not worth going for. Pancakes were thin and not flavorful, poached eggs were hardboiled and over easy were over hard. Tommie is the best waitress!!! Coffee is very strong.

“It should be busier..”
Reviewed January 15, 2012

We stopped again on our way to UConn, and my daughters remarked that it should be busier. It has a fun environment, plenty of helpful staffers, a broad menu, breakfast all day, and reasonable prices. Apparently, a well kept secret, which we found on google earth.

“A great place for a tasteful meal.”
Reviewed August 24, 2011

On the way to UConn we stopped at this colorful diner for lunch and were greeted by Billy Joel music and our friendly waitress. The clamroll and onion rings were great, and the wraps my daughters ordered were so good they wrapped the 2nd half for later. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and the raspberry iced tea was sweet!
The service was prompt, the food was hot and delicious, and the price was right.
We'll be stopping back.
